Green bags filled for homeless

GOOD DEED— For her mitzvah project, Oak Park teenager Lauren Cohen worked with Duffy Walton, founder of the Green Bag Program, to encourage more than 112 Or Ami families to fill green bags with clothing and food for some of Los Angeles County’s homeless population. At the end of the month, Lauren and other Or Ami members will hand out the bags to the homeless on L.A.’s skid row.
