OPHS Choir sings

The Oak Park High School Holiday Concert will be at 7 p.m. Fri., Dec. 10 in the school pavilion at 899 N. Kanan Road.

The choir will perform music of the season and choral classics such as “Kua Rongo Mai Kow,” a New Zealand number; Jacob Arcadelt’s “Ave Maria”; and Randall Stroopes “An American Te Deum.”

The holiday section of the program, “The Lawrence Elk Holiday Show,” will include favorites such as “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas,” ”Jingle Bell Rock” and “Hanukkah Night.”

The concert will end with “The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace” by Karl Jenkins.

Tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $7 for students and $5 for students with an ASB Card.
