Chalk it up as a clean sweep for the cross country teams at Oak Park High. At last week’s Tri-Valley League finals, Oak Park won the boys’ and girls’ varsity and junior varsity races.

For the boys’ varsity squad, Sahm Bazargan, Ryan Zelada and Blake Minasian were named to the TVL’s first team. Michael Tucker and Andy Khaw are second-team runners, while Patrick Thedinga and James Anderson earned honorable mention accolades.

On the girls’ side, Oak Park’s Kaycee Holcomb is the Tri-Valley’s Runner of the Year. Holcomb is joined on the varsity first team by Taelor Young and Kendall Engelhardt. Second-team girls’ members are Candance Matsunaga and Brittany Stalzer. Xcaret Osario and Kelsey Watters are honorable mention for OPHS.
