The Community Foundation for Oak Park will host a candidates forum at 7 p.m. Tues., Oct. 5 in the lecture hall, G-9, at Oak Park High School, 899 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park. The public is invited.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Candidates running in the November election for Oak Park Unified School District and Triunfo Sanitation District boards have been invited to speak.

After each candidate makes an introductory statement, questions will be accepted from the audience.

Four people are running for three positions on the school board, and 11 are running for four positions on the sanitation district board.

Portions of the forum will be recorded to be shown on the website Oak Park Now.

The nonprofit Community Foundation for Oak Park supports specialized volunteer efforts within the community.
