New trustees appointed in Oak Park

Foundation supports volunteer efforts

The Oak Park Community Foundation has appointed two new trustees, Barbara Schwartz and Jerry Clebanoff.

Schwartz brings experience as a television producer, executive board member of the Medea Creek Middle School Parent-Faculty Club, member of the Oak Park Unified School District Curriculum Council and member of the OPUSD Citizen’s Oversight Committee for bond measures and parcel tax.

Clebanoff has experience in finance and has a CFA designation. He previously served as chief investment officer for City National Bank in Beverly Hills and now works at a private investment management firm.

He has been a resident of Oak Park since 1979 and has two children that attended Oak Park schools.

Other foundation officers for 2010 include president Eva Larson, vice-president Mary Pallant, treasurer Jay Kapitz, secretary Alon Glickstein, Risa Littman, Diane Milavetz, Karen Onifer and Sherwin Samuels.

The nonprofit foundation supports volunteer efforts in the community and raises funds for community programs and projects.
