The Las Virgenes-Triunfo Joint Powers Authority, comprising Las Virgenes Municipal Water District and Triunfo Sanitation District, has received notification that the hearing on renewing the permit for the Tapia Water Reclamation Facility that was scheduled for today, Thurs., June 3 has been postponed. A new date for the hearing has not yet been announced.

The authority had submitted documents related to the renewal application that also requested postponement to allow additional time for the public to be engaged in the process and for the Tapia hearing to take place at a location closer to the agency’s service area.

The new hearing date will be announced as soon as it is set.
