Kids 4 Kids Carnival on Sunday provides fun, supports nonprofits
Jr. Variety will host its annual Kids 4 Kids Carnival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 18 at Willow Elementary School, 29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills. Admission is free.
Jr. Variety of Southern California is a charity run by young people to help children in need.
The Jr. Variety board is made up of high school teenagers from various regions of Southern California.
The carnival is the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Last year more than $30,000 was raised.
The event will have carnival games, prizes, Zoom Go- Karts, inflatable rides, quadracycles, face painting, music, food and raffles.
The silent auction will offer items such as hotel and restaurant certificates, theme park tickets, tickets to Los Angeles sporting events, and movie premiers.
“The Kids 4 Kids Carnival is one of the very special days each year that family and friends come together to make the world a better place. One hundred percent of the profits from the event benefit local communities and children who are physically challenged, disabled, and/or underprivileged,” said Jeremy Forman, Jr. Variety president.
In the past, Jr. Variety has supported and donated time and money to organizations such as Ride-On Therapeutic Horsemanship, The Variety Boys & Girls Club, The Tuberous Sclerosis Society, The Agoura Pony VIP baseball program, and Hollygrove.
