Agoura girls take title, donate to Haiti

GREAT GROUP—The Agoura girls’ sixth-grade travel basketball team captured the Ventura County travel league crown by beating Newbury Park. The girls have compiled a 29-3 record over the last two seasons with two championships to their credit. Along the way, the squad initiated a “Hoops for Haiti” program and raised more than $600 for Haitian relief efforts.
