I would like to extend my gratitude to Jana Orkney and public servants like her who put in so much work for this community and make difficult decisions that they know might be unpopular.

All of us here in the Conejo Valley and across the planet are beginning to wake up to increasingly uncomfortable truths about the reality of diminishing resources. We are all going to reevaluate how we use resources that we once took for granted, such as water.

The days of the lawn and endless showers are over. Those who use a lot water will need to pay a lot of money for it. Placing blame and anger on one person for the mistakes we all have made in the past is hardly constructive.
