HANDLE WITH CARE—Slithering snakes and skinks love the hot weather. Last Saturday, Agoura resident Jennifer Birdsall got a close-up look at Jake the snake during a wildlife show put on by the Nature of Wildworks animal care and rescue organization at Peter Strauss Ranch.
