Grad night board says thanks

The Oak Park High School Grad Night 2009 Board of Directors would like to express a big "thank you" for the generosity of the many families and businesses that supported the OPHS Class of 2009 Safe and Sober Grad Night.

We would like to first express our thanks to those OPHS families who gave above and beyond the ticket price to support our efforts in providing our graduates a safe and sober grad night.

We would also like to extend a huge "thank you" to the generous local businesses in our community who donated money and gift certificates as well as generous donations of food and water.

To all the parents and students who supported us with a donation of their time including those who chaperoned, made phone calls, baked, organized, boarded buses, collected and recycled Christmas trees, we could not have done it without you.

To our always supportive OPHS staff, we thank you for assisting us with whatever we needed.

To the wonderful staff at Knott's Berry Farm, we could not have asked for a more efficient, pleasant and cooperative group of people to spend the night with.

Finally, to the OPHS Class of 2009 for all your words of appreciation and true gratitude that you kindly shared with the parent volunteers, we are proud beyond words of your attitude and behavior at Knott's Berry Farm. The year of planning was worth it to see the exuberant looks on your faces as you entered the park. We congratulate and commend you.

We could not have achieved any of this without all the support we received from this amazing community.
