TOGETHERNESS—From left top, Afton Williams and Cody Dixon both entered Cindy Lokitz's kindergarten class at Oak Hills Elementary School in September 1992. After 13 years in the Oak Park Unified School District, the duo graduated from Oak Park High in 2005 and moved on to college. Below, both graduated from Chapman University last month. Together, Cody and Afton were DJs on Chapman Radio during college and both plan to pursue careers in broadcast media. Afton, daughter of Evan and Suzana Williams of Oak Park, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies, cum laude. Cody received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in creative writing.
