Oak Park

A vehicle break-in occurred when a burglar smashed a car window and stole property on June 14 in the 5500 block of Spanish Oak Lane.

Property from unlocked vehicles was stolen on the following dates and places: on June 14 or 15 in the 100 block of Park View Drive; on June 13 or 14 in the 500 block of Park Springs Court (six vehicles); on June 13 or 14 in the 100 block of Smoketree Avenue.

A male, 19, was cited for possessing less than 28.5 grams of marijuana at 2:30 a.m. June 18 in the 500 block of Water Oak Lane.

Agoura Hills

Thieves stole a $850 mountain bike from a garage in the 3900 block of United Road between June 10 and 13.

Someone tried to use a fraudulent prescription to purchase drugs from the CVS pharmacy at the intersection of Kanan Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard June 12.

A person violated a restraining order in the 30000 block of Lakefront Drive June 12.

An Agoura family reported being the victims of a brief kidnapping incident during a cab ride home from the airport June 8. Following a dispute about the fare the driver refused to let them out of the car and he flashed a fake law enforcement badge while threatening to take the victims to jail if they didn't pay. The victims were released after they called 911.

A resident in the 5200 block of Chesebro Road reported being the victim of identity theft. The incidents occurred between April 1 and May 26.

Calabasas

Someone surrendered a rifle at the sheriff's station on Agoura Road June 16.

Persons caused $800 in damages, breaking several storage container locks in the 5200 block of Las Virgenes Road June 13.

Vandals caused $1,200 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 4600 block of Park Mirasol June 13.

A resident in the 5900 block of Las Virgenes Road reported that someone stole her car June 12. The incident involved a $1,500 vehicle that was recovered by authorities in the San Fernando Valley.

Thieves stole a $750 laptop computer from the patio of a restaurant in the 4700 block of Commons Way June 12.

Police responded to a domestic violence incident on Las Virgenes Road June 12.

Someone stole $1,000 worth of professional hair cutting equipment from a business in the 25300 block of Calabasas Road June 11.

A resident on Park Madrid reported being the victim of identity theft. The incident occurred between May 1 and June 4.

Westlake Village

Burglars caused $300 in damages to get into an RV parked in the 32000 block of Triunfo Road between June 1 and June 14. They stole $100 worth of alcohol during the incident.

Thieves stole a $450 navigation system, a $400 cellphone, a $60 computer case and a $40 flash drive from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4400 block of Sevenoaks Court June 11.

Vandals caused $600 in damages shattering the window of a vehicle parked in the 32000 block of Triunfo Canyon Road June 3.
