A vandal caused $1,000 in damages spray by painting a water tank belonging to the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District. The incident occurred between May 25 and June 9 in the 29600 block of Kimberly Drive. A resident in the 28700 block of Colina Vista reported being the victim of identity theft June 8. The thief used the victim's Social Security number to open two bank accounts in Houston. Vandals spray-painted graffiti at Sumac Park and Sumac Elementary School in the 6000 block of Calmfield Avenue. The incident occurred between June 6 and June 8. Calabasas Vandals caused $200 in damages when they kicked a door in the 26000 block of Adamor Road June 6. A thief shattered the window of a car on June 6 to steal a suitcase containing miscellaneous documents worth $500. The incident, whick occurred in the 4500 block of Park Entrada, also caused $350 in damages to the car. A thief stole three baseball bats from a locker at Calabasas High School June 4. The value of the bats was said to be over $500. A thief stole a $350 leaf blower from a truck parked near a home on Ruthwood Drive June 3. Oak Park A male, 30, was arrested for allegedly battering someone he is dating at 12:30 a.m. June 12 in the 700 block of Deer Run Lane. A male, 19, was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia used to smoke controlled substances at 7:20 p.m. June 9 in the 400 block of Pesaro Street. A vandal broke two rearview mirrors and dented the hood of a vehicle on June 9 or 10 at the intersection of N. Oak Hills Drive and Avenida de Los Lobos. |
