Rock musical explores Egyptian love tale
     FORBIDDEN LOVE—The classic tale of a doomed love affair, "Aida," will be the first production of the Conejo Youth Theatre at Conejo Players in Thousand Oaks. Elton John wrote the music and Tim Rice penned the lyrics in this engaging tale of love and redemption. Concerts in the Park announced
      The Valley Cultural Center will present the annual summer Concerts in the Park on Sundays at Warner Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Concerts are free, and parking for $10 will be available in parking structures at Califa Street between Topanga and Owensmouth, and Ownensmouth Avenue between Oxnard and Califa.

      The city of Westlake Village will host the sixth season of TGIF, family friendly free entertainment throughout the summer. Events will take place on Fridays at Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive, or Berniece Bennett Park, 31800 Village Center Road, Westlake Village.
