Conejo Realtors select new leaders

The chairs and vice chairs of the committees of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors were commended by Connie Reed, the association's president, for their outstanding work at a recent recognition luncheon at the Mandevilla restaurant in Westlake Village.

Those honored included the Affiliate Committee, chaired by Laura Berg, and the Membership Events Committee, chaired by Deborah Montague.

The two committees jointly host events throughout the year to raise funds for the association's Public Benefit Foundation, which donates to local charities and funds local scholarships.

Jeffrey Riggs, Scholarship Committee chair, and Mary Whilock, Charitable Contributions Task Force chair were both congratulated.

Brent Davis was recognized for anchoring the Toys for Tots Drive in December.

The following committees were commended: Budget and Finance Committee, Linda Mills, chair; Nominating Committee, Patti Hepple, chair; Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity Committee, Don Philips, chair and Jan Roth, vice chair; and Education Committee, June Murray, chair.

Also recognized were Laura Lee Anthony, chair, and Johanna Peters, vice-chair, Professional Standards Committee; and Teri Pacitto, chair, Grievance Committee. These people developed a new Ombudsman and Ethics Advocate Program through which the public may understand how the grievance procedure works.

These people were also honored: Mandy Loftis for starting the association's new Green Committee; Allen Reznick for recommending the association's future direction as the Strategic Planning chair; Technology Committee chair Ryan Mills for his committee's stateoftheart innovations; Alex Manos Sr. for legislative advances made on behalf of private property rights as chair of Legislative and Political Affairs Committee; Chuck Lech as chair of Asset and Building Management Committee; Geoff Baker as By-laws Committee chair; and Liz Puliti and Barbara Radke as MLS and MLS Rules chairs for enforcing rules and regulations.
