Let's draw dad

Sun., June 21 is Father's Day, and The Acorn is inviting you to take out pen, pencil or crayon and draw a picture of dear old Dad.

Using the template in the ad on page 22, draw a picture of what your father looks like and send it to The Acorn, 30423 Canwood St. Ste. 108, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. You can also scan your drawing and send an e-mail to dads@theacorn.com.

Dad, don't take it personally. If you've got really big ears it just means you're a good listener. If your hair isn't quite right, maybe it's because it isn't there anymore. It's the thought that counts.

Dads are special. Show him you care by taking part in this year's "Let's Draw Dad" tribute as explained on page xx.

The deadline is Wed., June 10. Submissions will be published on a first come basis. All drawings will appear online at the website, www.theacornonline.com.
