Residents can receive assistance in obtaining domestic violence restraining orders at the district attorney's East County office in the Ventura East County Courthouse, Ste. 2880, 2855-F Alamo St., Simi Valley.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The East County office also provides assistance with small claims cases and consumer mediation services.
