Area netters cruise into quarterfinal round

Marmonte League boys' volleyball teams continue to make tons of noise in the CIFSouthern Section Division II postseason.

Four Marmonte squads— Agoura, Royal, Thousand Oaks and Westlake—won secondround matches Tuesday night to advance to Friday's quarterfinal round.

On Friday, Westlake plays at Costa Mesa; Thousand Oaks travels to Claremont; Royal is on the road against Valencia; and Agoura's at topseeded Laguna Beach.

All matches are slated to begin at 7 p.m.

In Division III, Oak Park and Oaks Christian both advanced to Friday's quarterfinals. Oak Park will host Santa Ynez, while Oaks Christian travels to Norco.

Semifinal matches are Wednesday night.
