      Agoura Hills Sometime during the day on May 12 a home at 5509 Rainbow Crest Drive was broken into and robbed. Electronics and jewelry were stolen. A person in the 31500 block of Agoura Road reported receiving annoying phone calls and text messages May 7.

Gifts for guns
      The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will have a Gifts For Guns exchange from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., May 23 in the parking lot of the Las Virgenes Unified School District, 4111 N. Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas. Residents can use a drive through drop off process to exchange their firearms for grocery store gift cards.

      Sheriff's deputies are enforcing their Click It or Ticket campaign through May 31. Fines for first-time adult seat belt violations have gone up from $100 to $131. For children, the first-time offense fine is now $435.
