Yes, gun laws work
      I just had to reply to Steve Cook's ("Argument shot full of holes") comments. Yes, I made a mistake on my dates. Being a former Marine in the 1960s, one of the most important dates to a Marine was the founding of the Marine Corps at Tun Tavern Philadelphia, July 1776.

      The Second Amendment reads: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." It is common knowledge that one of the main goals of the founding fathers was to create a government that was built on a balance of power.

      I would like to thank Sophia Fischer for covering Medea Creek's first annual Solar Derby event during Earth Week. The project was a fun, interactive way for students to better understand the power of the sun and alternative fuel sources. Homosexuality is a 'drain' on society
      "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me." That's how I was raised, and that's the way I raised my kids. Apparently today's kids are prissy, pampered sissies at risk of damage from peervoiced disapproval and are totally unprepared for independent, adult life.
