Red Oak kids are royal performers

Oaks Christian hosts Latin-style gala
      Oaks Christian School hosted its ninth annual dinner auction on May 8 on the school campus. More than 800 guests attended "Ven Conmigo . . . Come With Me," a gala-themed fundraiser. Guests were treated to an assortment of Latinstyle foods presented by Rincon Catering. Attendees also had the opportunity to bid on more than 500 silent auction items.

Outdoor summer movies
      The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services will present free movies in the park again this summer. Free movies will be shown on an outdoor screen starting at dusk on Saturdays at Reyes Adobe Park, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills. The movies are "Annie" on June 13, "Madagascar" on July 11 and "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" on Aug. 8.

Theater workshop accepting students for summer
     FOREVER YOUNG— Peter Pan (Chris Johnson) cozies up to Captain Hook (Toran Caudell) to announce the Southern California Children's Theatre production of "Peter Pan." The group is beginning a series of workshops for "kids, 'tweens, teens and adults" interested in theater. The series will conclude in August with a performance of "Peter Pan" at the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks. The group has been producing shows in T.O. since 1990.
