Boys' volleyball playoffs have arrived
      The CIF-Southern Section boys' volleyball playoffs will be in full swing Friday night. In Division II, Westlake High will host the wildcard winner between Hart and Hueneme. Royal, which tied Westlake for first place in the Marmonte League standings, plays at home against Camarillo.

      Almost every school had something to smile about at the Marmonte League Swimming Championships. Six of seven league teams enjoyed at least one firstplace finish during last Thursday's league finals at Rancho Simi Community Pool in Simi Valley.

Westlake golfers make it back-to-back divisional wins
Calabasas finishes fifth at Ojai
      The Westlake High boys' golf team has lived in the red all season, and Tuesday morning at Soule Park Golf Course at Ojai was no different. Westlake posted a team-total 2underpar 358 to claim its second consecutive CIF-Southern Section Northern Team Divisional title.

Tennis teams vying for CIF glory
      Postseason boys' tennis action in the CIF-Southern Section begins this afternoon at 3 p.m. Calabasas is at home against Dos Pueblos in a Division I matchup. Marmonte champion Thousand Oaks will host San Marcos; Westlake travels to HarvardWestlake; and Newbury Park plays at Palos Verdes.
