Office building sells

NEW DIGS—Mighty Net Inc. will move into the 36,660squarefoot building on Mureau Road near Las Virgenes Road. Kasower Properties purchased a twostory office building in the Calabasas Commerce Center for $7 million from Arden Realty. The 36,660-square-foot office is at 26010 Mureau Road, just off the 101 Freeway near Las Virgenes Road.

Kasower acquired the building to house its own business, Mighty Net Inc., a credit and financial information provider.

Lee and Associates represented Arden Realty while Sperry Van Ness represented Kasower.

"Today's commercial real estate market gives ownerusers opportunities they have not seen in Calabasas in quite some time," said Lee's Marc Spellman.

The Calabasas Commerce Center comprises seven buildings. Arden still has two offices for sale at the location. It once owned four buildings and sold one of them—the former Calabasas City Hall at 26135 Mureau Road—last December.

The Commerce Center was built in 1989 by Ahmanson Commercial Development and was to be a gateway to Ahmanson Ranch until the massive project was sold into open space.
