Software maker drives off with prize

Motor Vehicle Software Corporation, a local automotive industry software maker, won honorable mention in the 2009 Automotive News PACE Awards for its DMVDesk Registration Management System.

The Westlake Village company was the only one to receive recognition in the awards Information and Technology Services category. Competitors in the category included companies such as Microsoft and Dassault Systems.

The awards are given annually to firms displaying superior innovation, technological advancement and business performance in the automotive support business.
