Matthews goes from walk-on to wanted man
Agoura grad's stock continues to rise as NFLDraft approaches
      This weekend in New York, a second member of the 2003 Agoura High football team will be drafted by an NFLfranchise. The first was Joey LaRocque, an '04 AHS grad selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round, pick No. 243, of last year's draft.

Teams continue to climb CIF rankings
      Area high school sports teams are discovering that being second best isn't so bad at this time of year. With the postseason looming next month, the Oaks Christian softball squad, Westlake boys' volleyball team and Thousand Oaks boys' tennis squad were all ranked No. 2 in their respective divisions in the latest CIF-Southern Section coaches' polls released Monday.
