Solve1895 whodunit
      A dinner murder mystery, "Hang 'em High" will be presented from 6 to 9 p.m. Sat., April 25 at Leonis Adobe Museum, 23537 Calabasas Road, Calabasas. Capers Productions will stage a re-enactment of an 1895 murder trial to find out who killed Miguel Leonis. Guests are invited to follow the clues.

Arts, crafts vendors needed for Strawberry Festival
      Organizers of the California Strawberry Festival have extended the arts and crafts artist application deadline. Applications are still being accepted on a continuous basis for space or waiting list consideration. The festival will be on May 16 and 17 in Oxnard.

Summer food festival on tap
      Valley Cultural Center will host its 10th annual Summer Food, Wine and Microbrew Festival from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., May 7 at Westfield Promenade, 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Around 30 food vendors will participate in the event, as well as more than 22 wine, microbrew and other beverage vendors.
