Grossman breaks 41-year glass ceiling
Hannah Grossman Hannah G. Grossman, MD, obstetrics and gynecological specialist, was recently elected by the medical staff of Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center to serve as the chief of staff. She is the first woman in that role in the 41-year history of the hospital.
Grossman's responsibilities during her two-year term will focus on establishing an environment committed to highquality, efficient patient care and safety, and cooperation between the physicians and hospital staff.
Grossman has been a member of the hospital's medical staff for 21 years. During that time, she has been instrumental in the development of various programs within the OB/GYN department.
In addition to serving on numerous medical staff committees, she was a member of the hospital's board of trustees, serving two years as chair.
Grossman is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and received her medical degree from USC. She served an internship and residency at the University of Tennessee.
Her postgraduate experience included serving as a staff physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Medical Groups of Southern California
In 1988 she began a private practice in OB/GYN. Her office is at 558 Ventu Park Road, Ste. A, Thousand Oaks.
