Meeting to feature educational therapists
      When their children are failing classes, parents can turn in many directions for help, including teachers, doctors, counselors—and educational therapists. The Conejo Valley Mental Health Professionals group will host its monthly "Meet and Greet" lunchtime seminar Fri., April 3 with a focus on the field of educational therapy.

Track club sponsors blood drive
      The United Track Club will host a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sat., April 4 at Westlake High School track field, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village. All donors will receive a coupon for a pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream.

Seminar gives tips in dealing with stress
      A "Success over Stress" seminar will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., April 16 at the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. Ed Rockey, Ph.D., will offer an approach to handling stress through discussion, hands-on work, take-home activities and lifestyle suggestions.

Psychotherapy group offers help
      A psychotherapy group will meet at 7 p.m. every other Wednesday at Agoura Hills Senior Retreat, 5217 Chesebro Road, Agoura Hills. The next meeting will be April 1. The group is led by marriage, family and child therapist Fran Roslin.

Fitness, fun and fundraising
     POWER PUNCH—Students at A.E. Wright Middle School receive martial arts instruction at the school's Fitness Celebration 2009 fundraiser. Proceeds from the event will go toward replacing equipment and supplies in the school's physical education department.
