Marmonte League spring outlook: Softball
      There's a youth movement taking place on the softball fields of the Marmonte League. So many high-quality players graduated after last season that now, throughout the league, underclassmen are being counted on to produce winning results at the varsity level.

Westlake hoops squad takes the fifth
     PASSING GRADE—The All-Star boys' team from Westlake National Junior Basketball Association recently won the fifth-grade All-Star game. Team members include Nick Corso, Reece Chodorow, Cristian Egurbide, Brandon Jacobs, Jacob Jung, Milana Kazmer, Brandon Lam, Kayla Overbeck, David Serge and Chad Vreeland. The team was coached by Bob Jacobs.

Marmonte League spring outlook: Swimming
      March has brought with it Marmonte League action in boys' and girls' swimming. While the Westlake High girls' team and the Thousand Oaks boys' squad are considered oddson favorites to capture league titles, the Marmonte promises to feature a plethora of top swimmers who will battle it out for individual championships as well.

AYBA team puts together a perfect season
     FIRED UP—The AYBA sixth/seventh grade girls' basketball team comprised of players almost exclusively from Medea Creek Middle School won its division with a 13-0 record. Team members include Nina Winsick, Brooke Harrington, Victoria Ha, Maxx Fischer, Katherine Byrne, Kelsey Anderson and Noam Bar. Brian Winsick and Brad Anderson are the coaches.

Four Agoura water polo players named All-CIF
      Agoura High sophomore Savannah Fletcher and senior Christina Vournas were both named to the All-CIF Southern Section Division II girls' water polo second team. The only Marmonte League player to make the Division II first team was Royal's Kacey Creek.
