Learning about business loans

The Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will host an instructional seminar about business loans on Thurs., March 26 at Re/Max Commercial Real Estate, 3007 Agoura Court in Agoura Hills.

Antonio Pizano, program director for the Valley Economic Development Corporation, is the special guest.

New T.O. Chamber president named

The Board of Directors of the Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce officially named Jill Lederer as president/CEO of the organization. Lederer replaces Janet Levett, who retired in January after 20 years with the T.O. Chamber.

Lederer is a local businesswoman, former board chairman of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce (now the T.O.-WLV Regional Chamber) and a past Chamber Woman of the Year.

In January she was chosen as interim president to assure the day-to-day operations of the Chamber. After an extensive executive search, the board voted at the March meeting to select Lederer as the permanent president of the Chamber.

Lederer holds a masters from Pepperdine University and was owner of BTR Inc., a franchise she recently sold that had a chain of 10 local Domino's pizza shops.

Lederer has been a Chamber member for 25 years and is involved in many local civic and charity organizations.
