Coaches score

I want to thank all the Agoura High School boys' soccer coaches under the direction and administration of head coach Andrew Staiano, this year's Marmonte League Coach of the Year, and assistant varsity coach Walter del Olmo.

This years frosh/soph parents and boys enjoyed being coached by two AHS alumni/soccer players—head coach Jordan Levy and assistant coach Kevin O'Malley. They inspired the boys and are a compliment to Staiano and del Olmo's management choices.

The JV head coach Rafael Aguirre and the assistant coaches Jaime Alvarado and Brian Johnson encouraged the boys to put their whole heart into the game and always pushed them to play their best. All the coaches instilled a passion for the game of soccer, encouraging the boys to work on their skills away from training, and prepared the boys to succeed to the next level.

Each coach, with his own leadership style, utilized tactical, technical, physical and psychological methods in working on fitness and developing their teams' overall style of play. The games are always influenced by many factors, but the greatest factor was the coaches' leadership of character, integrity and values. Henry Press Westlake Village
