Ruth Ellen Adams

Ruth Ellen Adams passed away on Saturday February 28 at the age of 87. Ruth was born in Sugar House Utah on February 1, 1922. She was raised in the San Fernando Valley and has been a resident of Agoura Hills for 43 years.

Ruth and Melvin were active members of Kiwanis for many years. They have owned Agoura Equipment Rentals since 1966. Ruth was one of the first waitresses at the Denny's on Canwood Street in Agoura. Ruth was an avid Dodger fan -she never missed watching a game!

We will celebrate the memory of her love, humor and generosity in which she shared with everyone she met. She loved to host all family functions and holidays at her home. Ruth will be greatly missed by her friends, family and loved ones.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved son Jimmy, parents Robert and Mary Splan, brother's Paul, Lynn and Bob and lifetime friend Mrs. Albright.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Melvin Adams, children Melvin, daughter in law Janet, son Larry, daughter in law Peggy, daughter Marianne, son in law Mickey and daughter Nancy, 8 grand children, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and one on the way.

A celebration of Ruth's life will be held Thursday, March 5th at 11 am at the Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park 5600 Lindero Canyon Rd., Westlake Village. 10A41R
