Students on the honor roll

•Miami University of Ohio named Jamie Collins Brzeski of Westlake Village to the 2008-2009 first semester dean's list. A 3.5 or better grade average was required.

•California State University Channel Islands announced honor students for the fall 2008 semester. They earned a 3.75 or higher grade average. The students are:

Agoura Hills: Jaella Nolan, Lucas Allen, Katheryne Conley, Stephanie Jones, Maya Karta, Rachel Luciani, Jeffrey Lyon, Andrew Persin, Cassandra Silic and Peter Sylvester.

Calabasas: Jessica Anderson, Katherine Auerbach, Leah Cunningham and Natalie Parker.

Oak Park: Andrew Brown, Eric Perry, Catherine Wallet and Richard Weeks.

Westlake Village: Megan Brennan, Lisa Edwards, Alec Hess, Samantha Kelsch, Lisa Marchand and Jose Medina.

•Joshua Alexander Leibovitch of Hidden Hills has been named to the president's list at Bentley University for the fall 2008 semester.

To be named to the president's list, a fulltime student must earn a grade point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.

•The following students were named to the dean's list at Northeastern University for the fall 2008 semester:

Lena Bardovi of Calabasas, Rachel Feinstein of Agoura Hills, Evan Perillo of Agoura Hills and Katharine Wood of Calabasas.

To be eligible for the dean's list, students must carry a full program of at least four courses and have a quality point average of 3.25 or greater out of a possible 4.0.

•David Russak of Agoura Hills was named to the dean's list for the fall 2008 semester at Trinity University.

The dean's list honors students who maintained a gradepoint average of 3.65 or better while enrolled in a minimum of 15 semester hours.

•Calabasas resident Andrew Wixen has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Northeastern University. Wixen is majoring in music.

The dean's list honors students who carry a full program of at least four courses, have a grade-point average of 3.25 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no grade lower than a C.
