Marmonte grapplers get their revenge
Fans turn testy at league finals
      Love them or hate them, Royal High's wrestling squad proved once again why they are the cream of the crop in the Marmonte League. During the Marmonte League Wrestling Finals held at Simi Valley High last Saturday, six Highlanders claimed individual championships, matching last year's effort by RHS.

      During the second half of Tuesday night's Agoura High boys' soccer game against Calabasas, nobody was more anxious to score than Charger junior Tyler Buron. Agoura already had a commanding 4-0 lead, but that was beside the point. Buron had two goals, and he wanted a hat trick.

Oak Park's Kurland chooses Western State College
      Oak Park High senior cross country standout Aaron Kurland has signed a National Letter of Intent with Western State College of Colorado. Western State College is perennially one of the nation's top cross country programs, and in 2008 finished second in the NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships.
