Agoura Hills

A thief stole a $200 navigation system from an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a home in the 5900 block of North Misty Court Jan. 29.

A resident in the 5290 block of Colodny Drive reported seeing a burglar trying to steal items from her car, which was parked near her home. She described that a young person wearing a hood was standing behind her vehicle and he had the hatchback open. The culprit ran away when the resident yelled out. The incident occurred about 5:30 a.m, Jan 29.

Calabasas

A thief stole four tires and aluminum alloy wheels from a car parked in front a home in a gated community in the 24600 block of Calle Ardilla Feb. 2. The loss was about $4,400.

A vandal caused $200 in damages scrapping off lettering on the window of a door at a business in the 26500 block of Agoura Road Feb. 1.

A person caused $350 in damages by shattering the front window of a Ford Mustang parked in the 4120 block of Arroyo Willow Drive Jan. 31.

A thief stole office equipment valued at about $1,600 from a car parked in the 27000 block of Malibu Hills Road Jan. 31. Items stolen included a laptop computer, a photo camera, a Blackberry and several pairs of sunglasses.

Oak Park

A female, 26, was arrested for allegedly committing battery at 6 p.m. Feb. 1 in the first block of North Basswood Avenue.

More than $400 in jewelry kept in a shoebox in a closet was stolen between Jan. 12 and 15 in the 300 block of Alder Springs Drive.

A male, 22, was arrested for threatening to commit a crime and for possessing a concealed weapon at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 5500 block of Tanoak Lane.

Westlake Village

A $200 digital camera and a $200 cellphone were stolen from a desk at an office in the 5490 block of Via Rogas Jan. 30.

Someone caused $200 in damages breaking into a classroom at a school in the 31760 block of Village School Road to steal a $200 stereo speaker. The incident occurred Jan. 30.
