Monarch gymnasts go for the gold

Many of the young athletes who train at Monarchs brought home many medals from the 10th annual Lady Luck Invitational. Athletes from Monarchs Gymnastics in Agoura Hills and Newbury Park brought home many medals at the recent 10th annual Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas. More than 1,200 boys and girls competed.

Alyssa Gale, 16, of Simi Valley won three gold medals, including one for all-around, in the Level 10 division.

Carinne Gale, 13, also of Simi Valley, earned silver medals for bars and all-around and a bronze medal for vault and beam in the Level 10 division.

Elisabeth Epperson 13, of Agoura Hills, received a gold medal on bars in Level 8.

Kylie Naveau, 13, of Newbury Park took home three gold medals for bars, floor, and all-around, and a silver medal for vault in Level 6.

Emily Green, 9 from Thousand Oaks won gold medals in bars, beam, floor, and all-around in Level 4.

Baylee Hubert, 9 from Newbury Park earned a silver medal on beam and vault and took a bronze medal in all-around in Level 4.

Reese Burge, 9, of Newbury Park won a gold medal on beam and silver medals on bars and allaround.

Leanne Stillman, 6, of Ventura received a bronze medal across the board.

The Monarchs boys' team won the bronze medal in team competition at the Vitaly Scherbo Invitational 2009, also in Las Vegas.
