So I will begin by addressing her opening sentence. To quote, "We are all shocked by the huge increase in traffic traps as well as speed traps in our neighborhoods. More ... After reading letters in the Jan. 29 edition of The Acorn and all of the commotion stirred up by Julie Freeman, I just had to go back and read her Jan. 22 letter. If all our local friends and neighbors, including Ms. Freeman and her friends, obeyed our traffic laws there would be no need for "traffic traps," as Ms. Freeman calls them. Ms. More ... This morning while walking my dog around Westlake Lake, coming down Three Springs Drive and onto Triunfo Canyon Road, I spotted 10 dog poops not picked up. Four of these were on residential front yards, two were under a "Pick up after your dog" sign and two on the sidewalk. More ... The creation of our company was inspired by the everescalating recession that has caused the closing of countless local businesses. More ... In learning about the greed of the CEOs of lending institutions taking large bonuses that were given to them by our government for the use of rebuilding the financial markets, I was appalled and disillusioned. How was it possible that our government gave these lending institutions billions of dollars without specific provisions? I am furious, to say the least. More ...
