LVMWD board sworn in

Joseph Bowman and Charles Caspary recently took the oath of office marking the start of new four-year terms as members of the board of Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

Bowman represents Division 4, which includes a portion of Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and adjacent unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. He joined the LVMWD board in 2002.

Caspary is the director for Division 1, which represents Hidden Hills, portions of Calabasas and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County through West Hills and Chatsworth. He has served on the board since 2001.

In additional actions, the board selected Caspary to serve as president, and Lee Renger will continue to serve as vice president. Glen Peterson was elected secretary, and Jeffery Smith was selected to serve as treasurer.

LVMWD serves some 65,000 residents in the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village and surrounding unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
