Forums scheduled in Calabasas Council election

Calabasas residents have two more opportunities in the coming weeks to meet and question the candidates for City Council.

Three seats are up for election on the council. The vote is March 3.

The Calabasas Village Homeowners Association will host "Meet the Candidates" from 2 to 4 p.m. Sat., Feb. 7 at the Calabasas Village Clubhouse. Residents will have the opportunity to informally meet the five candidates.

A forum also will be held at 7 p.m. Tues., Feb. 10 at Chaparral Elementary School's multipurpose room, 22601 Liberty Bell Road, Calabasas. At the forum hosted by the Greater Mulwood Homeowners Association, candidates will answer questions submitted by the public.

Mayor Mary Sue Maurer, Mayor Pro Tem Jonathon Wolfson and Councilmember James Bozajian are running for reelection. Bob Sibilia and Dale Reicheneder are challenging the three incumbents.
