Oak Park schools unveil new web page
      Oak Park schools introduced a new website recently that not only looks different from the old site but is more detailed and interactive, and has a new address—www.oakparkusd.org. The redesign of the district's website features an updated, uniform look with common navigation elements for the administration and school sites.

Students enter their robot in regional competition
      It isn't easy building a robot. That's what members of Oak Park High School's new robotics club are learning. The group of 10 students met for four months during lunch periods, weekends and holidays to engineer a batteryoperated, remote control robot.

Kids take their turn in the spotlight
      BRAVO— Fifth-grade students at Brookside Elementary School take to the stage to perform "High School Musical." Alina Cenal directed the play which featured 41 students. Todd Waddington was the musical director and Mie Fallesen provided the choreography.

Agoura grad makes dean's list
      George Rimmele, a 2006 graduate of Agoura High School, has been placed on the dean's list at Arizona State University for the fall 2008 semester. The honor goes to students who earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more hours.
