Man charged in death of teenage girl
Dealer advised customers to take drugs like a 'Boy Scout' and 'be prepared'
      A federal grand jury charged a Westlake Village man Tuesday with selling the hallucinogenic mushrooms that were taken by a 17-year-old girl who was later hit and killed by a car on the Ventura Freeway. Stephen Thomas Roman, 30, had been in custody in Ventura County since September 2008 on separate charges of selling the drug Ecstasy.

      Agoura Hills A burglar stole a $2,000 laptop computer and a $30 purse from a car parked in the 30250 block of Agoura Road Jan. 21. A windshield was shattered to gain entry. A thief stole a $450 overnight mailbox belonging to the United States Postal Service. The theft occurred in the 5150 block of Clareton Drive on Jan. 17.
