Not here, please

My family has resided on Adelina Court in Agoura Hills for over 20 years. The main reason that we bought our house and continue to live here is the beauty of a quiet cul-de-sac, where we can walk out our front door and admire beautiful grassy hills, wild life and families enjoying nature's solitude at Forest Cove Park.

Imagine my anger when I was informed by The Acorn that this was to be no more. Plans for a recreation center, with accommodations for over 100 cars, is in the planning stages. What nerve the City Council has to make decisions for people who live on this street without our input.

As of now, the park legally closes at dusk. Few cars park on our street, other than those belonging to residents. Children can play safely on our street. Are you going to change all of this? When was the city going to inform the residents? The answers to these questions and more will probably appear in The Acorn. Peggy David Agoura Hills
