Writers to meet

Gail Small, motivational speaker and author of the Joyful Living Series, will be the featured speaker at the Ventura County Writers Club's meeting at 7 p.m. Tues., Jan. 13 at Border's bookstore, 125 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Small will discuss motivational strategies for writers.

Small is the author of five educational and parenting books and a contributor to the recently released "Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Resolution." She is also a Fulbright Memorial Scholar named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
