Library to launch book club

The Calabasas Library is starting a new book club for adults. January meetings will be at 6:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 15 and 2 p.m. Sat., Jan. 17 at the library, 200 Civic Center Way, Calabasas.

The theme for January is "Fiction to Film." The book for discussion will be "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Ernest Hemingway. The Thursday meeting will be a discussion meeting and the movie will be shown on Saturday.

Both events are free, but a library card is required to participate.
