Prager at Hyatt

Radio talk show host Dennis Prager will present a talk titled "The Mumbai Attack: The Rabbi and the Terrorist" at 8 p.m. Tues., Jan. 13 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Prager will discuss the motives behind the terrorist attack at the Mumbai Chabad House in November, when more than 150 people were killed, including Chabad Rabbi and Rebbetzin Gabi and Rivkah Holtzberg.

Climate change

Donald R. Price will present "Global Climate Change and How to Reduce Our Impact Locally" at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Jan. 8, at Westlake Village City Hall, 31200 E. Oak Crest Drive, Westlake Village.

Price is an engineer with the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District. He will give a brief, informative talk to illustrate the actions that affect global climate change, the effects upon local climate and some ways to reduce the impact residents have on the local environment.
