Sheriff's Blotter Agoura Hills A vandal caused $900 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 5800 block of Capehorn Drive Nov. 9. A man reported that he had been shot in the leg with a BB gun in the 5900 block of Carell Avenue Nov. 8. The victim was jogging on the sidewalk when he noticed a white Mercedes with tinted windows traveling in the same direction. The vehicle slowed down next to the jogger, who then heard the sound of a BB gun being fired. One of the pellets stuck him in the calf. Shoplifter stole a $40 pair of shoes from a store in the 5700 block of Kanan Road Nov. 8. A vandal caused $350 in damages by shattering the window of a vehicle parked in the 4900 block of Calle Robleda Nov. 5 A thief stole a checkbook and a wallet containing $120 in cash from the center console of an unlocked car parked in the 4130 block of Jim Bowie Road Nov. 3. Calabasas A vandal caused $100 in damages by spray-painting a wall in the 4270 block of Vicasa Drive Nov. 8. Someone stole a wallet containing a driver's license, Social Security card and credit cards from an office in the 24000 block of Park Sorrento. The incident occurred Nov. 6. Two women entered a business in the 26500 block of Agoura Road and reportedly stole the purse belonging to an employee who was with a customer. The purse contained $2,500 in cash and five personal checks totaling $350. The incident occurred Nov. 4. A thief stole $1,100 in cash by using a stolen debit card belonging to a resident who lived in the 5700 block of Las Virgenes Road. The incident occurred Nov. 3. Someone stole $350 worth of potted plants from the garden area of an apartment complex in the 29100 block of Woodcreek Court on Nov. 2. A thief stole a $120 car stereo from a vehicle parked in the 23600 block of Park Capri between Nov. 1 and 3. Someone stole $750 worth of aftermarket products from a car parked in the 4700 block of Commons Way Nov. 1. A thief stole a $2,000 generator from a storage trailer in the 1050 block of Cold Canyon Road on Nov. 1. Someone stole a package containing a $660 gold ring with a pink oval gem stone. The package had been delivered to the front door of a home in the 27000 block of Esward Drive on Oct. 22. Oak Park A male, 19, was arrested for being drunk in public at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 4800 block of Rockfield Street. Westlake Village Thieves stole a $200 iPod and $30incashfromaalockerroomin the 31700 block of LaTienda Road Nov. 7. A burlgar attempted to break into a business in the 4600 block of Lakeview Canyon Road Nov. 3. They didn't get in, but damaged the lock, the business owner said. A burglar broke into a car parked in the 5600 block of Lindero Canyon Nov. 2 and stole a purse containing bank cars, a $400 pair of sunglasses and $20 in cash. |
