Auditions for 'Willy Wonka Jr.'

Conejo Players Theater will hold auditions for "Willy Wonka Junior" at 5:30 p.m. Sun., Nov. 30 through Tues., Dec. 2 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Those auditioning should prepare a one-minute song and bring sheet music in their key. An accompanist will be provided. Instrumentalonly music tracks are also acceptable.

Actors should be prepared to read from the script and learn a short dance combo. No appointment is necessary. There is no pay.

Rehearsals are from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday beginning Jan. 5. Tech rehearsals are from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday from March 8 to March 20.

Performances are 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 21 to 29. There will be a performance at 7 p.m. Fri., March 27 and two daytime performances for schools on Wed., March 25.

No conflicts are allowed during tech weeks and performance dates.
