YMCA Indian Guides, Princesses to host family information barbecue

SUBURBAN TRIBE—Indian Guides and Princesses enjoy plenty of outdoor activities.

The Triunfo YMCA will hold a free Y Guides information day and barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Sat., Sept. 6 at Willow Elementary School, 29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills.

The Y Indian Guides and Princesses program, for fathers and their children in kindergarten through second grade, develops understanding between fathers and their children. Activities include overnight camp-outs, bowling, a pinewood derby and a train ride.

Groups are formed in participants' neighborhoods, and meetings are held monthly, usually at a member's home. Activities are geared around school schedules. Financial assistance is available.
