NoDryerFire opens

NoDryerFire.Net is a new business in the Conejo Valley whose mission is to eliminate a hidden fire hazard that can be found in almost every home- the dryer vent. The firm, owned and operated by local resident Kevin O'Leary, offers professional vent cleaning.

The buildup of lint in a dryer vent over time poses a potentially dangerous situation, O'Leary says. Clogged dryer vent pipes cause a dryer to work harder and can greatly increase the time it takes to dry clothes.

The firm uses HEPA filters and green cleaning methods in its effort to provide energy savings and fire remediation.
